Not for this movie.Īctually it worked for some audiences. I like to watch drama-genre movies drown me away. Another audiences seemed wipe the tear on their eyes. Tanah Air, an national anthem, was barely waken the national spirit of the audiences at least for the children sat behind me, who sang followed the backsong. Seeing the amazing beauty of Indonesia should have been an inevitable attraction to love this country. How the 5-membered group's nationalism flourish through the hike to the top of Mount Semeru. One more to notice was the nationalism this movie try to deliver. As well, the clouds surround them and the short beautiful sunrise catched by the camera were among the top scenes in this movie. All about the beautifull scenes of Bromo, Ranu Pani, Ranu Kumbolo, and Semeru of course.
A friend even asked me to go there this new year. The girls sat next to me were just so impressed to see the scenes. This was the biggest attraction of the movie I guess. The cinematography of this film deserves a big compliment for showing these beautiful places. I felt I was in another world, a strange world I never visited. The steppes along the way beetwen two places was just so amazing as shown in this movie. This amazing scene reminded me of a journey I took with some friends several years ago. The first breathtaking one was the view of steppes valley flanked by downhill in both sides. The saviour of the film was the beauty of Mount Semeru and the picturusque scene around it. Then I knew how a good acting should like. The only way to cacth the story was just by reading the subtitle. He said the film was just so terrible so he couldn'nt understand it since the acting was so plain. I remember a review written by a foreigner about an Indonesian movie. Someone who happy to meet the one she crush on but incapable to express it, just the way Riyani should show off when she met Zafran, the one he was into secretly. The audiences should see it on the actor's face or gesture. A cheerful moment need no such scream,"Wow that's so amazing" or "I'm so happy". I'm not an actor nor the expert in acting, but for me acting should be able to tell a story even without any talk. So far the close friends they enjoyed to hang out with were just 5 of them. They needed to pursue their another dream and make another friends.
In a shoot, one of them, Genta, just popped up an idea to not going around to prevent a boredom may come to their relationship. Then last night, for around 2 hours I was sitting in the theatre while the scenes's rolling, telling a story of a 5-membered group and their close friendship. Although I was still doubt about the numbers. Until I browsed and find out how 1 million moviegoers just crowded the theatre in last 10 days for this new comer. It will not far from walking shroud, smooth thighs, or big boobs. But as usual, I was a little bit sceptical bout Indonesian one. He said many people was just crazy about this new movie. One day, a friend suggested me to go to the theatre for an Indonesian movie, 5 cm. It's not a review just another point of view. In other words it's the Semeru not the story sells 5 cm to 1 million viewers in 10 days, if it is true. Undeniable, these picturesque scenes has attracted many movigoers to go and explore the highest point in Java after watching the movie. Not much to proud but the beautiful of Semeru, Ranu Pani, and Ranu Kumbolo. Instead of a friendship nor romance neither sad movies, 5 cm is a celebration of Indonesian beauty.
